Top Tools of a Successful Product Launch
Being a Product Launch Manager for several highly successful launches I get asked what my favorite tools are for a successful Product Launch. Here they are with a brief description of each
- An auto-responder. I usually am okay with whatever the client brings into the launch but prefer Infusionsoft andOfficeAutopilot.
- A great video host. This is definately NOT youtube! I have seen big dividends paid by using Viddler.com and have opened my own account with them and offer it to my clients. It is very well suited for Product Launches ….do you see the player Brendon Burchard is using for this launch? You guessed it Viddler.com through me. If you are interested in using it in your launch let me know. If you are currently using EZS3 for a launch I can give you several reasons why that is a BIG mistake. I have also found www.Wistia.com to be a great service.
- Hosting of the Site. Depending on the size of the launch I like either a dedicated server or something being hosting in the cloud. Having the ability to scale up for demand is critical.
- Affiliate software / Shopping cart. Without these two getting paid is not possible. Some of the best are Infusionsoft and 1Shoppingcart
- A Team that has been through several Launches. Hearing from Jeff Walker himself about the many unscripted things that happen during a launch I have found that a highly competent team can overcome nearly every issue. This includes a webmaster, copywriter and several other important roles.
- A BONUS tool. A great video recorder such as the Flip HD or the Kodak Zi8. These both allow a quick video to be shot but with great quality.
While many of these may seem simple and even basic I have found that they are often neglected and prove that having a second set of eyes on any launch is a the best thing to do.
